Chapter 1.1 An Introduction to Scientific Godism

Introduction:

Greetings and welcome to an introduction to SG-O-TOE as my new theory of everything. The “SG” stands for Scientific Godism, the “O” is for One, while the “TOE” means Theory of Everything. Together SG-O-TOE is a new theory meant to explain scientifically how everything in the Cosmos came into existence from a singularity science refers to as nothingness. It has been developed using the scientific method to deduce the process by which pure un-manifested energy could be transformed into physical matter existing all around us, as diverse things of creation, which we shall hereafter call individual truth bodies or ITB. This model of transformation is introduced as the four-position foundation structure (4PFS), a concept derived from a religious view called Godism.

In my research I have used Physics as the scientific bases for my studies and Godism as the religious base. As a hobby I have had a profound interest in physics[1] from high school, seeing it as a possible window to the casual world of religion; yet today, with the accepted Big Bang Theory which seeks to justify the existence of all reality coming from a singular exploration of energy, physics has been unable to develop a plausible Theory of Everything[2].

Being born into a Christian family and nation I have had an unquenchable thirst to understand the unknown, particularly to know clearly the origin and nature of GOD. For this, I searched diverse religious faiths, both eastern and western; but it was not until 1979, while working towards my Doctorial Degree in Electrical Engineering, was I blessed to hear the Divine Principle[3] (the Principle) for the first time.

The Principle introduced me to Godism as a new world view of life taught by Rev Dr. & Mrs. Sun Myung Moon. For me it was the first religious view that provided a scientific understanding of God and the Universe. Using these two pillars of science and religion, I began an in-depth search for the hidden truth of how NOTHING[4] could transform itself into such a profound and beautiful universe as ours without a causal being as GOD. From 1979 to 2014 I developed the framework of my new theory while living through 24 years of civil crisis in Liberia.                         

In conclusion I came to realize that without a direct experience of God, science could not bridge the veil between the physical and spiritual world. The most they could do was to reach the mathematical point of the origin of everything. A point which Steven Hawking and colleagues reveal in their “No Boundary Proposal”[2]. A point that SG-O-TOE now call Paradise Isle (Pi). I hope you enjoy reading this blog as it is but the beginning of my story as an Ambassador of Peace from the New Nation of Cosmic Peace[5] now descending on Earth from the spiritual realm of God’s True Love. [1] At one point I wanted to be a Physicist, but coming from an undeveloped nation like Liberia I was convinced by my family that Engineering would be more practical.

[2] Modern science has clearly accepted the existence of infinite energy at what has now been called “the Zero Point” of reality, so mathematicians and theoretical physicist are madly searching for a construct which can harmoniously or symmetrically explain how the beauty of our Universe could have developed from this ZPE without the imposition of the existence of a divine creator. This is the essence of what a Theory of Everything has to do. [3] “The Exposition of the Divine Principle”, published in English by: The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, printed 1996 but linked to two previous Korean versions. Explanation of the Divine Principle (Wolli Hesul) published in 1957 and Exposition of the Divine Principle (Wolli Kangron) published in 1966. Upon hearing the Principle, I immediately quite my studies and joined the movement. I guess sub-consciously I felt all my questions were answered.

[4] The concept of NOTHING refers to that which is beyond our various physical and scientific senses (telescopes, microscopes, etc.). It doesn’t negate the existence of energy. Modern science has now clearly accepted the existence of infinite energy at what has now been called “the Zero Point” of reality, so mathematicians and theoretical physicist are madly searching for a plausible construct which can systematically explain how the beauty of our Universe could have developed from this ZPE without imposing the existence of a divine invisible creator.  

[5] Through a series of spiritual experiences from 1970 to 2014 I was allowed to visit paradise Isle and received several inspirations and visions of its existence and the future coming of God’s Kingdom on Earth. The “Nation of Cosmic Peace and United” is the new name for God’s sovereignty which is about to be fully established on Earth over the next 1000 years. As I write this book over a million people worldwide are being awaken to this reality, through in diverse ways.
